Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc. (FMA) is ISO 9001:2008 certified for the sales, marketing, design and development of integrated circuits. This certification applies to FMA’s Sunnyvale CA, Headquarters and the Livonia, MI office, which supports sales and marketing for automotive customers.
FMA is a support site for Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited Iwate Plant’s ISO/TS16949:2002 certification for the design / development and manufacturing of semiconductor integrated circuits for automotive use.
The world-wide Fujitsu group meets the standard for environmental management systems with its ISO 14001:2004 certification for the manufacture and sales of telecommunication systems, information processing system and electronic devices, and their related services.

Fujitsu supports protecting the global environment and is actively taking measures such as providing lead-free solder material for electrical parts. Fujitsu started manufacturing lead-free packages at the end of 2000 and approximately 90% of all products are now lead free. All lead-free products are 100% compliant with RoHS requirements and Fujitsu actively encourages customers to adopt RoHS compliant devices.
RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC restricts six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products.
