Digital Contact Controller

DCC (Digital Contact Controller) is a touch sensor IC which will convert capacitance generated between human body and a conductive touch pad to digital data without any analog signal processing. It includes proprietary technology of ATLab, Inc, Korea, that compares reference and sensor input impedances to detect touch, all in digital domain.

As a breakthrough in human input device, FMA1127 is a fully-digitally implemented DCC that not only enables an easy realization of navigation and access to contents in portable devices such as mobile phone, multimedia players and PDA’s, but also is able to replace various types of mechanical switches and buttons used in so many electronic products.
