SERVIS™ Console Drawers

A console drawer incorporates an LCD monitor, a keyboard and a pointing device into a single, compact device. A considerable amount of space is saved because an individual keyboard, mouse and monitor are not necessary for each PC or server.

SERVIS console drawers are available as standard products (FD-1000 series), OEM/custom porducts (FD-5000 lift-up series), and others. All series are available with integrated 8- or 16-port KVM switches to make effective use of 19-inch rack space.

The FD-1000 series console drawer features a 15-inch XGA or SXGA TFT LCD monitor, an 83-key (U.S.) keyboard, and an electrostatic touch pad with PS/2 I/F or Sun 8-pin. The new 17-inch enhanced monitor will support the multi-interface.

This series is capable of simultaneously supporting multiple platforms of IA servers and Sun servers when integrated with a multi-KVM switch. When in the closed position, the FD-1000's flat, 1U high modular design slides neatly into a 19-inch rack.

The FD-5000 series console drawer includes a 15-inch, XGA TFT LCD monitor, a keyboard, and an optical scroll mouse instead of a touch panel. Unique to this series is its flat mouse operating surface that elevates/descends within the drawer frame in coordination with the monitor's opening/closing. A 17-inch multi I/F support model will be released which includes a wireless mouse. Fujitsu supports custom 2U and 3U drawers as well.
