Fujitsu Electronics America, Inc. (FEA) is ISO 9001:2008 certified for the sales and operations management of integrated circuits. This certification applies to Fujitsu Electronics' Sunnyvale CA, Headquarters and the Novi, MI office, which supports sales and marketing for automotive customers.
Fujitsu Semiconductor group acquired the ISO14001 certification which is the international standard of Environmental Management System (EMS). The FSL group, as a member of EMS, regard environmental problems as an important theme of the management, unite all divisions to address global environmental concerns.
Fujitsu supports protecting the global environment and is actively taking measures such as providing lead-free solder material for electrical parts. Fujitsu started manufacturing lead-free packages at the end of 2000 and approximately 90% of all products are now lead free. All lead-free products are 100% compliant with RoHS requirements and Fujitsu actively encourages customers to adopt RoHS compliant devices.
RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC restricts six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products.
