Roland Glidden Joins Fujitsu as Vice President of Sales, Grocery
Veteran with 20 Years Retail Technology Experience to Lead Grocery Sales Team
Frisco, TX, July 13, 2006 — Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc. has appointed Roland Glidden to the position of vice president of sales, grocery, where he will develop and manage sales initiatives for Fujitsu in the grocery industry.
Glidden was previously vice president of sales for Retalix USA. He and his team were responsible for new systems implementations at Big Y, Fresh Brands, Hannaford Bros., K-VA-T, Hy-Vee, Overwaitea, Publix and Sweetbay. He also led the launch of Retalix’s StoreLine POS in the North American grocery retail marketplace.

Glidden holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tufts University in Medford, Mass.
