Bruce Kopp Joins Fujitsu as Vice President, Sales

Veteran with 17 Years Retail Technology Experience to Lead Sales Team


Frisco, TX, May 25, 2006 — Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc., in recognition of the continued growth of the Fujitsu customer base, has appointed Bruce Kopp vice president of sales. In this newly created position reporting to Doug Wallace, senior vice president of sales and client management, Kopp will partner with Karl Schutz, vice president of sales, in leading the sales team and, in particular, driving new business development.

Kopp, previously an executive of the Retail Strategy team for IBM Americas, has more than 17 years of sales and management experience in the industry, and was responsible for development and delivery of IBM’s Retail Store Strategy to customers and internal sales teams.

Prior to his career at IBM, Kopp was a sales representative at NCR and worked in the finance department at Filene’s corporate office. Kopp has a master’s degree in business administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.
