Fujitsu Components America, Inc.

Sunnyvale, CA, February 9, 2007 — This year at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show, held April 16-19 in Las Vegas, Fujitsu Components America will exhibit its latest KVM/switching/monitoring peripherals in a server rack configuration.
The demonstration will highlight how the products centralize interface control of various computing functions, such as mixed usage of IA, Linux, UNIX, and PC, and utilize Simultaneous/Continuous monitoring in a server room environment, while reducing equipment costs and simplifying cable management within the broadcast setting.
Simultaneous/Continuous monitoring is the concept of an open LCD display that is positioned flat against the rack front. This is implemented through a 2U, bi-level console drawer, which allows the LCD position to be adjusted independently.
Fujitsu switch and monitoring products to be demonstrated in the rack include:
The exhibit demonstrates the expandability and flexibility of Fujitsu switching and monitoring solutions to meet the needs of multiple users, multiple locations, and environments with multiple server configurations, from newsrooms to production control rooms, enabling the facility to function more efficiently.
Additional applications include CAD design systems and creation of Thin-Client Systems without replacing the computing hardware or software.
