Servus Credit Union and Fujitsu Agree on New $10.8 Million IT Services Contract
Fujitsu Consulting to Continue Support of Mission-Critical IT Systems for another Six Years
Edmonton, AB, January 15, 2007 — Servus Credit Union and Fujitsu Consulting announced today a new six-year contract under which Fujitsu will provide mission critical IT support to Servus Credit Union, the largest credit union in Alberta and the fourth largest in Canada. The contract has an initial value of $10.8 Million and represents an extension of a business relationship between Fujitsu and Servus Credit Union that began in 1995.
Servus Credit Union is a financial institution that is achieving rapid growth, driven by five mergers in the past three years, business alliances, and organic expansion through product and market diversification. Innovative, flexible and secure IT technology forms a crucial foundation for the superior personal service that is the signature of Servus Credit Union.
Through this agreement, Fujitsu Consulting will provide the information technology services needed to manage today’s operations – including support and management of existing technology and business applications – and to accommodate the rapid business growth and ongoing expansion. To support this growth, Fujitsu will continue to explore new information technologies that will allow Servus Credit Union to enhance its services and sharpen its market competitiveness.
