Fujitsu Wins Oracle North America Titan Award for its Integration and Service Oriented Architecture Solution

Fujitsu Consulting’s integrated solution positively impacts lives of university students, while realizing an immediate return on investment


Edison, NJ, November 9, 2006 —  Fujitsu Consulting, the North American consulting and services arm of the $40.6 billion Fujitsu Group, announced that it has been awarded the North America Oracle Titan Award 2006 in the Integration and SOA category. The Oracle Titan Awards recognize partner excellence in solution development and business achievements in North America. Award recipients have successfully defined new markets, achieved leadership positions in target markets, and transformed traditional business practices building on Oracle's offerings.

The award recognizes the outstanding Web Services-based integration solution provided by Fujitsu Consulting’s Emerging Technology Group (ETG) to one of the world’s leading research and teaching institutions. The system utilized Oracle’s SOA solution, Oracle® BPEL Process Manager, and Oracle InterConnect to provide real-time integration between the Institution’s facility management, student housing, dining, student registry and student financial applications.

The award-winning solution from Fujitsu Consulting now gives more than 10,000 students the ability to check their meal balance and transaction details in real time.
