Fujitsu Wins Microsoft Global Partner of The Year Award

Fujitsu Consulting Recognized as Best-in-Class within Database Migration Category for Business Controls Inc.’s MySafeDashboard® Reporting Solution

Edison, NJ, August 3, 2006 —  Fujitsu Consulting Inc., the North American consulting and services arm of the $40.6 billion Fujitsu Group, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, today announced that it has been awarded the 2006 Microsoft Partner of the Year award in the database migration category for global winners. The Microsoft Partner of the Year awards recognize Microsoft partners that delivered exemplary solutions for their customers during the past year.

Fujitsu Consulting was selected from a field of thousands for a reporting solution that it implemented for Business Controls Inc., one of the country’s leading anonymous incident reporting and investigations firms. The solution integrates Business Controls’ anonymous incident reporting systems MySafeWorkplace® and MySafeCampus® with a comprehensive reporting system called MySafeDashboard. Anonymous incident reporting provides a safe and confidential method for employees to communicate concerns and issues to their employer over the Internet or through a telephone call center.

MySafeWorkplace and MySafeCampus users can analyze the data obtained from incident reports through visual presentation functions such as data tables, pie charts, graphs, etc. This allows clients to identify negative trends in the workplace and proactively take steps to resolve and prevent them.

The new system was developed and deployed using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET over SQL Server 2005.

“This award is the result of three partners – Microsoft, Business Controls and Fujitsu Consulting – collaborating on an innovative solution that meets a key business need,” noted Jay Lendl, Fujitsu Consulting’s vice president, Microsoft Practice. “This recognition also sends a message to our business partners and clients that we will continue to invest in solutions that provide unbeatable value.”

“Fujitsu Consulting really earned this award,” said Steve Foster, Business Controls’ executive vice president and chief operating officer. “Our new reporting system far exceeds anything else in the industry. In creating this breakthrough reporting tool, Fujitsu Consulting and Microsoft surpassed our expectations as well as those of our clients.”
