Halifax, N.S. , December 7, 2004 – xwave, an Aliant Company (TSX: AIT), today announced it has acquired the Atlantic operations of Fujitsu Consulting (Canada) Inc., including the transfer of 90 employees and existing projects with clients in the region. Not included in the agreement are the Halifax-based Fujitsu Consulting Business Services (FCBS) Center and the Fujitsu Atlantic Delivery Center (ADC), both of which will continue to provide services to support Fujitsu Consulting’s North American operations.

- Fujitsu Consulting Announces Sale of Spain Subsidiary to Management-led Group
Edison, NJ, January 23, 2004 – Fujitsu Consulting, the global consulting and services arm of the $38 billion Fujitsu Limited, has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its ownership interest in the companies comprising DMR Consulting Spain to a group that includes the DMR Consulting Spain management team backed by private investment firms. Both sides anticipate that the transaction will be completed within the next few months. DMR Consulting Spain currently provides consulting and services in nine countries, including Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Portugal, and Spain. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
