Fujitsu Provides the World's Most Powerful Single Server for Data Warehousing and Decision support with Oracle Database

Toronto, ON, September 2, 2003 – Fujitsu Technology Solutions, Inc., a member of the worldwide group of Fujitsu companies, today announced a record-breaking data warehousing benchmark result for its Solaris™ compatible SPARC® based PRIMEPOWER™ 2500 server running 64 SPARC64® V processors. Fujitsu achieved a TPC-H™ benchmark of 34.345.4QphH™ @3000GB, setting another world record in industry-leading standards. Fujitsu's High-End PRIMEPOWER Servers Break One Million Operations Per Second Barrier

Toronto, ON, June 18, 2003 – Fujitsu Technology Solutions Canada Inc. today announced record-breaking results for its PRIMEPOWER ™ 2500 UNIX ® system in the SPECjbb ® 2000Java performance benchmark. Breaking the one million operations per second barrier for the first time, Fujitsu achieved performance of 1,420,177 operations per second with a 112-way PRIMEPOWER 2500 system using the company’s 1.3GHz SPARC64 ® V processors,shattering records previously set by HP, Sun, and IBM in the same performance tests. In the 64-way server category, as well, PRIMEPOWER 2500 outpaced the competition with performance of 835,479 operations per second. These benchmark results were published on www.spec.org as of May 29, 2003.
