Fujitsu’s New All-In-One Printer Unit Supplies Fast, Reliable Output in Self-Service Kiosks, Medical Devices and Instrumentation

Sunnyvale, CA, October 15, 2008 – Fujitsu Components America, Inc. today added a new, high-speed, printer unit to its thermal printer line. The small-footprint, all-in-one printer unit combines a 2-inch thermal printer mechanism, an ultra-low profile integrated cutter, a mini interface board with embedded bar codes for receipt output in mini-kiosks, POS terminals, ATMs, as well as scientific and medical equipment.

Fujitsu Releases Interface Board for High-End Printer Features

Sunnyvale, CA, August 5, 2008 – Fujitsu Components America, Inc. today introduced a new interface board series for its 2, 3, and 4-inch, 5V thermal printer mechanisms. The new interface boards support high-end features such as high-speed data communications, fast print speeds, USB 2.0 and high speed (460kbps) Serial (RS232-C) connectivity, and OCR extended numeric characters.

Fujitsu 40A High-Temp Automotive Relay Is Market’s Smallest

Sunnyvale, CA, February 4, 2008 – Fujitsu Components America, Inc. has released the market’s smallest 40A, high-temperature-grade automotive printed circuit board relay. Capable of switching heavy loads such as for power outlets, fan motors, electronic power steering and starters, the FBR53-HW relay replaces larger plug-in relays to conserve PCB weight and real estate in Electronic Control Units.
