Fujitsu Broadens its Halcyon Mini-Split Lineup with New 42,000 and 36,000 BTU Ceiling Cassette Systems
New Recessed Ceiling Cassettes Are Among the Slimmest in the Industry with Exclusive Slender-Fit Mounting
Fairfield, NJ, May 2, 2003 — Fujitsu General America, Inc., a leader in advanced-technology HVAC solutions, has added its slim-profile model 42RC and model 36RC ceiling cassette systems to its Halcyon product line. The new 42,000 BTU System 42RC and 36,000 BTU System 36RC mini-split cooling/heating systems are the first to incorporate Fujitsu’s new Slender-Fit feature, which enables the cassette housing to be moved downward into the room by 1-3/8", requiring just 9-7/8" of clearance above the ceiling.
The Slender-Fit feature makes the new Fujitsu Halcyon 42RC and 36RC ideal for a wide range of installations such as drop ceilings where space is limited, yet where powerful, ultra-quiet, energy-efficient cooling and heating is desired.
Tedd Rozylowicz, Senior Vice-President of Fujitsu General America pointed out: "Our new Slender-Fit ceiling cassette systems broaden our Halcyon line and extend installation options. We now offer a complete lineup of sizes to accommodate the needs of a broader variety of residential and commercial applications." Rozylowicz concluded, "Along with high-capacity cooling and heating performance, our Halcyon ceiling cassettes provide total ease of use, and their inconspicuous in-ceiling design enables them to blend with nearly any environment."
The 42RC and 36RC build on Fujitsu’s existing Halcyon line of ceiling cassette systems, which also includes the 24,000 BTU System 24RC and the 18,000 BTU System l 18RC that require just 9-1/4" of ceiling clearance for flush mounting.
