  • Fujitsu Helps Finnish City Lahti Area to Implement New National Social and Healthcare Model Lahti, EMEIA, 03, January, 2019 - Fujitsu today announces that Lahti, the eighth largest city in Finland, has outsourced key areas of its information and communication technologies (ICT) to Fujitsu, involving the transfer of 90 Provincia employees. The initial agreement is valued at EUR 24 million and focuses on reducing costs and improving services for citizens. It also means that Päijät-Häme is among the first of the 18 Finnish provinces to be fully aligned with the proposed nationwide social and healthcare services reform in Finland.
