Fujitsu Luxembourg supports KBL epb with implementation of new digital solution for its British subsidiary

Fujitsu EMEIA

Brussels/Luxembourg, September 14, 2016 KBL epb initially used a banking solution made available to group subsidiaries. “We were offering our customers a web interface that allowed them to view their assets and documents (e.g. bank statements) thanks to a highly secure identification system,” noted Dominique Battaglia, ADM, Group Banking Services Manager, KBL epb. “We subsequently decided to develop the web solution by integrating a tablet interface. We approached Fujitsu and Nvision and asked them to provide us with a Proof of Concept. The two companies were a perfect fit: Fujitsu brought technical expertise, while Nvision offered user experience know-how. The ultimate solution, which combined the website and tablet app, was first adopted by our Belgian subsidiary, Puilaetco Dewaay Private Bankers, followed by our UK subsidiary, Brown Shipley, in May.

The ePortal Solution and Training in Agile Software Development from Fujitsu

The web and tablet solution offers the same graphics and allows customers to view assets (portfolios), display documents and manage content. “This last function was immediately adopted by the marketing team as a tool for targeted communication with our customers,” explained Battaglia.
During the implementation of the solution, Fujitsu offered KBL epb teams training in agile software development. “This has been a key part to our success. Thanks to this approach, we were able to provide regular feedback to Fujitsu, which meant that Fujitsu were able to tailor the solution to meet our needs and those of our customers.”
The solution was launched smoothly. “It has been a great technological success, and we have received very positive feedback from customers,” added Battaglia.
