Advanced Technology
One of the first few PDAs on the market to utilise the Intel® PXA250 applications processor based on the Intel® XScale™ Microarchitecture (Intel®'s fastest to date), the Fujitsu Pocket LOOX clocks in at an amazing 400MHz. With 32MB of Flash ROM and 64MB SDRAM, the Pocket LOOX gives users heavy-duty computing power, allowing them to make the most of the new features and standard software in Microsoft®'s Pocket PC 2002.

Easy Navigation with Just One Hand
Weighing in at a relatively light 175g, the Fujitsu Pocket LOOX combines great form with excellent function. The Start menu button renders using and changing menus a simple affair. The five-way navigation pad and quick-launch buttons (contacts, tasks, calendar and LX-Launcher) are strategically placed for optimum ease and simplicity of use. The LX-Launcher button gives you instant access to all your favourite applications with just one touch.

There is even a record button for easy voice recording and playback, and a 3-way jog dial for quick menu scrolling. Everything about the Pocket LOOX is designed for easy use and one-handed navigation.

Adding Colour to Your World
The Pocket LOOX comes with a 3.5" TFT reflective screen that offers high resolution, 240x320-pixel colour images. This assures users of excellent viewing quality in all kinds of lighting conditions when using the extensive range of software that comes bundled with the Fujitsu Pocket LOOX. For example, the Mobem suite of bilingual PDA software that includes CE-Star (which enables Chinese language script input and display of Chinese language content) and Pocket Dictionary (which provides Chinese language explanations for English words). The suite also includes Mphone 2.6, a phone management software for SMS, phone contacts, ringtones, logos and even Bluetooth dialing.

Flexible Upgrade and Expansion Options
The phone management software will certainly come in handy with the Pocket LOOX's optional GPRS expansion module, due for release some time in Q4, 2002*. Just slip on the module, and transform your Pocket LOOX into your very own customised PDA-phone. In fact, Fujitsu has designed the PDA in such a way that turning the Pocket LOOX into a mobile phone, portable music player or even adding an second battery is a snap. To fully utilise the Pocket LOOX's capabilities, two expansion slots have been integrated: one for Secure Digital (SD) and one for Compact Flash (CF) media. This renders greater freedom when it comes to later expandability choices.

Wireless Connectivity at the Touch of a Button
Besides its impressive array of functions, the Pocket LOOX also includes an IrDA port and integrated Bluetooth™ function. Users can access the Bluetooth™ function directly via an unusual on/off button located on the right-hand side of the Pocket LOOX. This means seamless, wireless connectivity at one's fingertips instantly. With the fully integrated stereo speakers and an audio speaker and microphone, the Fujitsu Pocket LOOX is the perfect choice for unsurpassed visual and audio pleasure.

Tools for Business & Leisure
Specially designed to perform a wide variety of tasks ranging from business to recreational to personal, the Pocket LOOX features bundled software like the challenging yet fun Turjah II (won Annual Best Software Award 2001, Action Game category by Pocket PC magazine, January 2002 issue) Adobe Acrobat Reader and Animated Today 2002, which produces fully animated and dynamic screensavers for the Pocket LOOX's Today screens. Presenter to Go also allows presentations (including video and audio format simultaneously) to be projected using the Pocket LOOX via a VGA adaptor card in the PDA's CF slot.
