More Than a Pretty Face
The slim good looks belie the power concealed beneath. Configured with an Intel® Pentium® III 1.2GHz processor,
256MB SDRAM, Intel 3D Dynamic Video Memory Technology (DVMT) graphics support and a 80GB hard disk, one wonders how everything
fits into the compact hollow spine behind the LCD display.
The Next Logical Evolution
With attention paid to both form and function, the DESKPOWER 6000/SD is the perfect choice for the office and the home. Its
sleek design and superior space-saving qualities help maximize desk space. Setup is also quick and easy, as all the components
of the PC draw power from one source. There are also no connecting cables to confuse, as the LCD monitor is fused with the
main body of the PC.
Touch Screen and Easier Access to CD-ROM
Forget the mouse. Just tap on the screen of the LCD panel to make your selections. Fujitsu carries on its strong tradition
for touch screen notebooks by integrating the same technology into the DESKPOWER 6000/SD. Users can elect to fit a touch screen
panel to their monitors to activate this feature.
Easier Access to Combo Drive
Located just below the LCD panel is a combo drive (DVD /CD-R/RW), allowing optimal creativity in making movies, compiling
music, as well as providing rich multimedia entertainment. Users will also appreciate the high-fidelity sound from the built-in
speakers.
Plug and Play - the Laptop Way
The DESKPOWER 6000/SD also features PC Card support. This is a significant step towards Fujitsu's vision of a truly easy-to-use
desktop. Cost is also minimized as PC Cards can be easily swapped between laptop and desktop, thus reducing the need to buy
double components.
Optional TV Tuner
Throw out the goggle box. With the optional TV Tuner, the DESKPOWER 6000/SD more than doubles up as a television. Watch broadcast
programmes and DVDs all in one place. Perfect for making the office feel more like home.
Saving Your Eyes
The 15-inch XGA TFT LCD monitor offers brilliant clarity and viewing comfort. The polarized screen reduces glare and hence,
user fatigue. Polarization also gives the screen a very high contrast ratio of 400:1, giving it unparalleled clarity.
Fujitsu's patented Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment (MVA) technology endows it with a viewing angle of 160ยบ both horizontally
and vertically*, one of the widest in the industry. The LCD display also boasts of a 25ms refresh rate, nearly twice as fast
compared to the industry average of 40ms. A rapid response time reduces eye fatigue and increases the overall workplace health
related to PC usage.
Office and Home Connectivity
Broadband and wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth™ come readily supported (PC Card option) on the DESKPOWER
