Arnott's outsources data centre operations to Fujitsu

Fujitsu Australia today announced that leading food manufacturer Arnott's will outsource its data centre operations to Fujitsu under a five-year arrangement valued at approximately $7.5 million. Arnott's will move to Fujitsu from IBM Global Services Australia.

Fujitsu doubles FLASHWAVE 7700 long haul reach to 1,500km

Fujitsu today revealed the latest release of its FLASHWAVE 7700 long haul DWDM platform. The FLASHWAVE 7700 platform can now transmit 80 full-duplex 10Gbps channels up to 1,500km without regeneration, which is more than double its previous distance.

Fujitsu invests in high-end Internet Data Centre

Fujitsu develops 40Gbps optical transmitter module, heralding next wave in high-speed optical communications systems

Fujitsu Limited announced today that it has developed a 40gigabit-per-second optical transmitter module, a major milestone in creating the next generation of high-speed optical communications systems.
