SUSTAINABILITY: THE INNOVATION IMPERATIVE

Today many businesses are focussed on how to achieve competitive advantage through innovation. Sustainability is a key concept that is also starting to gain momentum within business strategy - both from the perspective of re-use and standardisation, through to taking a long-term view of the way businesses operate within the context of the community and environment it operates within.

This half-day conference and exhibition will be opened by the Chairman of Fujitsu Limited, Naoyuki Akikusa who will share how Fujitsu globally drives innovation through a focus on sustainability.

Our key note speaker, Dr. Richard D Hames, Australia's pre-eminent corporate philosopher and one of our most dynamic and compelling commentators on the future of business, government and society, will be talking about the drivers of change globally and the impact on innovation and sustainability.

Martin North, Managing Consulting Director, Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand will provide a clear view on the innovation landscape in Australia and New Zealand - what drives business performance and how to sustain performance; as well as new insights on customer loyalty

Bob Fowler from CA will discuss how project and portfolio management solutions can be used to manage risk, decrease costs and increase efficiency and innovation across the enterprise.

Manufacturing has benefited from lean production for years, and the next wave will be in services. Gartner VP & Distinguished Analyst, Craig Baty will give an address on the Industrialisation of IT services.

Fujitsu's approach to industrialisation is TRIOLE and Dave Mackenzie, Executive General Manager, Strategic Planning & Marketing, Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand will provide an update on the TRIOLE strategy for Australia and New Zealand.

Microsoft is also responding to industrialisation through Infrastructure Optimisation, and Tim Rowe from Microsoft will share recent case studies.
