Sponsorship Guidelines

As you can appreciate we get numerous requests for sponsorship of various events, programs, teams, etc. We only get involved if we can demonstrate tangible reasons for Fujitsu’s involvement, reaching the right C-suite audiences where we can develop long-term relationships and opportunities to keep the conversation going. We partner with groups and organisations that reflect our vision and values, helping us communicate these to our existing and potential customers in engaging and meaningful ways.

Whilst we are always open to requests for sponsorship, please bear in mind that we may not always be able to help.

What Fujitsu will not consider:

  • Simple opportunities for exposure of the Fujitsu brand.
  • One-off events that don't offer opportunities to interact with customers and potential customers.
  • Corporate hospitality - we can buy this if we want it.
  • Activities that don’t touch most of the areas where we operate in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Religious, political or racially prejudiced or otherwise discriminatory activities.
  • Sponsoring individuals.

Evaluation based on:

  • Alignment with Fujitsu’s vision, brand values and our community focus
  • Target audience - the fit of the sponsorship with our customers – C-Suite and senior business executives
  • Business opportunities it may present - supply of services, acquisition of new customers.
  • Customer benefits - appeal to the general public, intellectual property rights.
  • Existing commitments.
  • Available budget.

What we require from you?

To ensure that our sponsorships derive maximum value key criteria have been developed to evaluate all current and future opportunities. We receive hundreds of great opportunities so those who make an effort to demonstrate their understanding of our business and how the opportunity meets our needs will grab our attention.

If you would like to submit a proposal for our consideration, please include the following:

  • Name, details and credentials of your organisation
  • Description of the event or project for which sponsorship is sought
  • Where is the event
  • Timeline for the project (including length of partnership contract and renewal notice period)
  • A profile of the audience including any market research that is relevant
  • Details of other confirmed sponsors involved in the project and references and endorsements from past and existing sponsors
  • Media partners and details of their confirmed commitments
  • Details of all on-going main media exposure such as television, newspapers or radio promotion where Fujitsu would receive exposure
  • Level of sponsorship sought (i.e. Principal, Co-sponsor, Supplier) and how many other sponsors are being sought
  • Sponsorship amount requested (Cash and/or in-kind)
  • Details of all benefits of the sponsorship with an estimation of their worth
  • Expected participation/attendance/viewing numbers
  • The unique experiences/ideas associated with the sponsorship that that will help differentiate Fujitsu and make our involvement relevant for the audience.

Please note that Fujitsu’s financial year is April 1 to March 31. Proposals should be submitted prior to November to be considered for the coming year's sponsorship plan.
