Corporate Responsibility Within The Marketplace
Globally Fujitsu will help its customers to remove more than 30 million tonnes of GHG by 2020. We will do this by working in partnership with our customers, delivering “Green” and “Super Green” IT and through the deployment of innovative solutions and products that are more environmentally efficient and therefore reduce the overall “carbon footprint” associated with business activities.
A Sustainability Strategy that’s good for business
Our business consultants bring expert knowledge and environmental know-how to help customers formulate sustainability strategies that link their business objectives to their sustainability objectives, helping them to identify opportunities to reduce their GHG emissions and deliver cost savings to the business.

A Global Leader in “Green IT”
Fujitsu has some of the most environmentally sound IT equipment in the world, for example Fujitsu was the first IT company in the world to acquire environmental labelling through a third-party certification for their Notebooks (EcoLeaf environmental Label). Fujitsu has consistently set the standard with its Green and Super Green classifications for IT. Meaning our products have more recycled or recyclable materials, less harmful or hazardous chemicals and consume less power.

Delivering Sustainable Solutions
Smarter use of IT can help organisations save money and reduce their environmental impact. Through our services portfolio, we help customers deploy innovative IT solutions and gain the benefits of our investment in cleaner, more efficient and sustainable service design. Two such examples are Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) and Desktop Managed Services, and they are becoming very successful at helping organisations save money, reduce the need to travel and improve their sustainability.
Fujitsu has also invested significantly to ensure that we operate some of the most sustainable data centres in the world including our data centre in Homebush Australia which consumes about 32% less energy then a standard data centre and, through its state of the art cooling system, saves up to 80% in water.

Green and ethical sourcing
Fujitsu has a complex supply chain – we spend a lot on the components and equipment that goes on to become the physical assets underpinning our outsourcing and service solutions. Consequently, we work with our suppliers to ensure that they in turn give thought and consideration to the impact of their processes and products on the environment.. Their responsibilities also include obligations on human rights, diversity and health and safety. In partnership with our suppliers, we lay the foundation for sound, long-term relationships that help us both become better global citizens.
