This global event brings Fujitsu’s world-class thought leadership, innovation and best practice to Australia, with the 2017 agenda showcasing best practice in co-creating digital futures with customers. The Australian stop-over will be hosted at the Crown Promenade Melbourne, on Thursday 22nd June.

Digital disruption drives change for businesses in every market segment. Organisations are now being forced to address these new challenges with their digital agenda for the future. As part of the Fujitsu World Tour 2017, Fujitsu supports its customers in addressing the challenges of digital disruption head-on, and shares how organisations can align IT strategy with changing business needs. The event will demonstrate innovative and holistic solutions in themes such as Workplace Anywhere, Hyperconnected Business and Infrastructure for the Digital World, and tackling trends like Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things.

Mike Foster, CEO of Fujitsu Australia, said: “It is important for organisations to learn fast and act quickly in the context of constant digital disruption. As the complexity of the digital world increases it is harder for any single organisation to go it alone, which is why we are highlighting the advantages of taking a co-creation approach. This means teaming up with technology experts and working together to design, implement and operate digital business solutions.”

“The Fujitsu World Tour 2017 will provide attendees with a taste of how to bring inspirational digital transformation projects to life. We are connecting the dots of technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud computing, the Internet of Things and Cybersecurity, to deliver compelling digital business outcomes.”

With the theme of ‘Digital Co-creation’, the agenda will focus on how organisations can keep abreast of and leverage ongoing digital disruption by working collaboratively with customers and suppliers. The program will feature international thought leading keynotes including Steve Walker, Asia Pacific CIO of DHL, who will discuss DHL’s digital transformation journey towards a new era for logistics and how Fujitsu supported DHL in achieving this. Other keynotes include an insight into digital transformation in a Hybrid IT environment by Ramanan Ramakrishna, Head of MIS Service Innovation and Portfolio at Fujitsu EMEIA, as well as perspectives on ‘Human Centric Innovation’ by Fujitsu’s Vice President Marketing Strategy Yoshikuni Takashige.

The Fujitsu World Tour 2017 will also showcase the latest innovations from Fujitsu Laboratories, including the company’s Interactive Shoes Hub, a wearable device which collects, collates and analyses user data that has many potential applications including training, coaching, tracking and authentication. Also on display will be the SPATIOWL Smart Mobility platform that makes it possible to visualise urban traffic flow in a major city for the planning of traffic management, major events and natural disaster management. Fujitsu will also demonstrate the unique Head Mounted Display, a digitally enabled headpiece with a display positioned in front of either eye, wearable keyboard, integrated camera and voice control/command.

As well as gaining inspiration from keynotes delivered by Fujitsu executives, customers and partners, Fujitsu World Tour 2017 attendees can become co-creators by interacting with demonstration technologies offering unique approaches for different business scenarios, including end-to-end solutions for sectors such as healthcare, education, retail and government.
