Panel of Cloud experts selected to showcase discussion on latest Cloud technologies and business benefits in Australia

Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand, a leading provider of business, information technology and communications solutions has today announced the panel of experts that will be featured at the upcoming Fujitsu Cloud Forum events in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney. A further complement to what is set to be an exciting array of guest speakers; the panel will explore the technology advances of Cloud Services and the affects of Cloud on Australian businesses.

The events, starting 2 March in Canberra, 3 March in Melbourne, and 4 March in Sydney will showcase Fujitsu Australia’s unique range of solutions and offerings in the Cloud Services area. At the events, participants will be given the opportunity to observe and interact with industry experts on the discussion of Cloud and what it means to the Australian IT industry.

James O’Loughlin from the ABC Inventors program, MC and panel facilitator, will ensure the panel discussion focuses on what Cloud means to the IT industry and the various perspectives that will affect business in Australia.

The Fujitsu Cloud Forum 2010 will be held in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney to showcase the launch of Fujitsu’s range of solutions and offerings in Cloud Services. The events will feature international keynote speakers, including Marc Silvester, CTO of Fujitsu Global Group; speaking on the advances of technology in our Cloud solutions and the advancements of Cloud Services on a global scale. Mr. Chiseki Sagawa, President of Service Oriented Platform Strategies Office, Fujitsu Japan will be providing insight to new applications developed to support our Cloud Services and will showcase various case studies that are leading the market in Fujitsu Cloud offerings. Vernon Turner, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Infrastructure at IDC will define the opportunities of the local Cloud industry, provide a market overview on Cloud and will be delivering industry findings of a recent CIO survey into Cloud Solutions.

Mike Foster, Group Executive Director, Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand together with Cameron McNaught, General Manager, Solutions, Fujitsu Australia will be presenting tailored breakout sessions with unique insights into Business & Technical streams, to offer attendees a deeper understanding of the business advantages and technical solutions that Fujitsu's Cloud Services can deliver.
