Fujitsu Launches 'One Step Solutions' for Microsoft Office System

Fujitsu Australia today announced two new 'One Step' service products for customers implementing information and project management solutions based on the Microsoft Office System.

Fujitsu's One Step to Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 and One Step to Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003 are key elements in its overall support for the Microsoft Office System launch program. Both make it possible for customers to assess and install Office System-based solutions in less than one month.

Fujitsu is exhibiting at today's launch and will provide details on its implementation of Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003 at Linfox. The national transport group is using Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and Microsoft Office 2003 to accelerate processing times for legal contracts from weeks to days.

Principal Consultant Rodney Hobbs, who led Fujitsu's team at Linfox, will participate in a live Q&A session alongside Driss Toukhsati from Linfox, fielding questions from Microsoft Australia team members including Chief Executive Officer Steve Vamos.

The two new Fujitsu One Step Office System solutions bring together the latest in Microsoft productivity technology with the experience of Fujitsu's consultants, who have a proven track record of delivery and best practice solution design. The result is expert assistance, reduced development time and rapid return on investment.

In addition to Linfox, Fujitsu has installed a new Microsoft Office System solution at Goulburn Valley Water. This implementation was also completed as part of Microsoft's Rapid Adoption Program and will see the Victorian utility save an in excess of $70,000 a year by moving from paper-based to electronic processing of employee timesheets.

One Step to Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 enables companies to improve the way they manage projects.
