Fujitsu Expands VoIP Options for Coral FlexiCom Customers

Fujitsu Australia today announced the availability of VoIP enhancements for the Coral FlexiCom corporate telephony platform. These upgrades deliver compelling new options for growing enterprises seeking full-featured Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions to reduce telephony charges and deliver advanced user and network features.

The latest additions extend the functionality of Coral FlexiCom, a leading PBX solution used by hundreds of enterprises with tens of thousands of equipped ends across Australia and New Zealand. Distributed and supported by Fujitsu, Coral FlexiCom now provides an easy migration path that allows fast-growing medium-sized organisations to deploy VoIP features on demand.

Today's announcement includes the advanced Coral FlexSet-IP handset, Coral Flex IP Soft Phone, the Coral IPx rack-mounted VoIP server and the Universal Gateway IP card for linking multiple offices via IP connections.

Featuring a stylish contemporary design, the Coral FlexSet-IP handset is an advanced Internet-enabled digital phone suitable for any corporate or home office environment connected to a converged corporate network. The Coral FlexSet-IP handset features a clear LCD display and an intuitive programmable user interface that helps users make the most of sophisticated IP-enabled network features. Moreover, its standard RJ-45 plug removes the restrictions of proprietary phone wiring, ensuring phones can be easily added or moved simply by changing the LAN/WAN port connection. The Coral Flex IP Soft Phone is an option to the Coral FlexSet IP handset and can be used on laptops and desktops. The Coral Universal Gateway (UGW) is an internal gateway for IP phones and trunk lines.
