Biometrics Institute The Biometrics Institute is an independent not-for-profit membership organisation, founded in July 2001 in Australia with initial funding from the Australian Government through the Department of Communications, Information and the Arts (DCITA). The organisation is unique in that it has been set up as a user group with a majority of user members such as government departments and organisations using or planning to use biometrics running the association. |
| CEDA CEDA is an independent, not for profit body formed in 1960 that aims to inform, influence and raise the standard of discussion and research about the issues shaping Australia's economic and social development. It does this by publishing independent policy research; providing a forum for debate and discussion by business, government and academia; and offering a membership network to people and organisations that value knowledge, insights and ideas in Australia's best interests.
