Certified Management Systems in Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand

Quality in Fujitsu focuses on the achievement of successful business outcomes, both for Fujitsu and its customers. This is managed through implementation and maintenance of an effective and efficient set of business processes.

These processes form a business management system, key components of which cover the management of Quality, IT Services, Information Security and the environmental impact of our operation.

These management system components are certified to international management system standards and periodically audited by internal and external auditors for ongoing fulfilment of standard requirements.

The resulting management system is characterised by its emphasis on continual improvement, sustainability, teamwork and achievement of customer satisfaction.

Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand's Quality Policy

Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand encapsulates these principles in its Quality Policy, which states:

Fujitsu’s brand promise is “Shaping Tomorrow With You”. This promise is supported by 3 key attributes of being Ambitious for the customers’ success, Genuine in delivering what we promise and Responsive to our customers’ needs.

To assist all of us to achieve this aim we implement and maintain a business management system which meets the requirements of external management system standards for all or parts of our business, specifically

  • Quality Management in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001 across the entire organisation,
  • Environmental Management in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 14001 across the entire organisation,
  • IT Service Management in accordance with ISO/IEC 20000.1 for those parts of the organisation providing managed services, and
  • Information Security Management in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 for those parts of the organisation that provide data centre services.
  • Workplace Health and Safety Management in accordance with OHSAS 18001 for selected parts of the organisation

We continually seek ways to improve our processes and ensure they continue to meet the requirements of our customers and the technological and business environment.

We recognise the value of building and maintaining certified management systems in creating a high performance culture that will enable us to achieve our business objectives.

Continuously maintaining and expanding

We have continuously maintained and expanded a Quality Management System certified to the internationally recognised standard ISO 9001 since 1991.

More recently, we have taken advantage of the emergence of management system standards for IT Service Management (ISO/IEC 20000) and Information Security Management (ISO/IEC 27001) to include relevant certifications for parts of our organisation where these management system components offer value and assurance for our customers.

In order to demonstrate Fujitsu’s worldwide commitment to sustainability, we further expand our Environmental Management System to include more and more sites in our ISO 14001 certification.

In order to effectively control occupational health and safety risks, aid legislative compliance, improve overall safety performance and meet the expectations of our customers, we have achieved certification for our Workplace Health and Safety Management System for select locations and functions.

Our management system certifications, indicating scope and sites, can be reviewed at the On-Line Certification Register of SAI Global.
