Gernot Fels
Head of Integrated Systems, Global Product Marketing, Fujitsu


Gernot Fels is in charge of Integrated Systems in Fujitsu’s Global Product Marketing and based in Germany. Prior to this he worked in various functions of training and education, consulting, sales, business development and marketing within the Siemens group, Siemens Nixdorf Computers, Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Fujitsu.

He is looking back to a professional experience of over 30 years in the ICT industry. Gernot holds a degree in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe (Germany).

 

 Rainer Hettinger

Rainer Hettinger
Principal Business Developer SAP Global Delivery - BAS SAP Solutions

Rainer Hettinger has more than 25 years of experience in IT architecture, SAP Data Center Solutions and Services and is member of the Fujitsu Global Delivery team focused on SAP solutions and services. Together with approx. 40 Fujitsu SAP experts he is based in the Global Fujitsu SAP Competence Center in Walldorf /Germany, just across the street to SAP HQ. He accompanied the evaluation of SAP application virtualization into solutions ready for a SAP Cloud as well as the latest developments and innovations regarding SAP In-memory technology, SAP HANA and the Internet of Things.

In his actual role he supports for many years the Fujitsu country organizations in the Middle East, India, South Africa and Asia in their SAP customer and partner projects. Additionally he acts to collect feedback from customers and partners in this markets and share this experience with central Fujitsu SAP teams.

Rainer holds a master degree in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim/ Germany.

Commercial Business Director for Middle East and North Africa- Intel

 

Andy Nehme is Intel Corporation’s Commercial Business Director for Middle East and North Africa. He has worked in the MENA region for the past 17 years in a variety of roles focused primarily on shaping Enterprise and Public Sector ICT strategy and directions. Andy currently leads Intel’s business development efforts thru a team of highly experienced professionals who function as trusted advisors and technology experts to bring Intel’s Digital Transformation solutions to the region.

Mark Ackerman is a Service Management professional of 15+ years working with various large Consulting firms and OEMs in this space. In his current role he is responsible for the business development, channel management and marketing of ServiceNow for the Middle East territory.

Ranei Ayoub

Channel Enablement Lead, Citrix Middle East, Turkey & Africa

Ranei Ayoub is Channel Enablement lead for Citrix in the UAE covering the META region, responsible for the growth and development of Citrix partners technical, sales and presales skills covering each of Virtualization, Mobility and Cloud technologies. Ranei is also responsible for Citrix channel specialization and competencies program.

Ranei holds more than 12 years of experience in the field of IT solution sales and technical presales in the region. Before joining Citrix, Ranei served as Mobility and Virtualization Solution Sales at Microsoft Corp. He also served around 2 years with leading system integrators in UAE where he worked on a diversified portfolio of Data Center and Software solutions.

Ranei holds a BS in Computer Communication, as well as a set of a technical and sales certifications.

 

Samer Ismair

Samer Ismair
Senior Network Consultant, Middle East Mediterranean and Africa

 

Samer Ismair, Senior Network Consultant at Brocade Communications has over 15 years of experience in the IT networking field and is an expert in designing and building data center network solutions involving switching, routing, wireless, network management, security, unified communications and mobility. His role is to educate regional customers on the need to design next generation data centers that can support today’s technology trends like big data, mobility, cloud and virtualization. Prior to Brocade he worked at Emirates Computers for 4 years as a Pre-Sales Consultant.

Ismair holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from Jordan University of Science and Technology.

Simon Bradford

Simon Bradford
Cloud Technologies Director, Microsoft Public Sector - Middle East & Africa

Simon brings a passion for technology and innovation as well as broad industry experience from his 15 years of working in Enterprise IT.

Since joining Microsoft in 2008, where he was responsible for specialist sales into Government for Microsoft’s offerings in Communication & Collaboration, Simon has gone on to run and manage the Justice Sector business in the UK. With the focus firmly on modernizing the Sector and driving digital efficiencies through adoption, change management and a design led approach to solutions, the outcomes invariably turned to Cloud technologies for the benefits they could quickly realize. During this time Simon drove key UK Government projects such as the “eJudiciary” project and the modernization of the UK Supreme Court.

In 2014 Simon moved into his current role as the Cloud Technologies Director, Public Sector, Middle East and Africa (MEA). Brining his experiences from the UK to the region the focus is on evangelizing the Cloud, its benefits, approaches to adoption and how to overcome some of the challenges associated with this technology shift.

Prior to Microsoft, Simon worked at IBM UK for 8 years with a number of roles before taking on responsibility for IBMs Software business into Higher Education and leading a new business sales team in this space.

Simon graduated from Bristol University West of England, played rugby for England at University and Schools level before injury forced him out the game. When not spending time with his wife and 2 boys he enjoys keeping fit and skiing in the winter.
