  • Fujitsu Warns that European Companies are too Slack in Preventing Cybercrime Munich, EMEIA, February 16, 2017 - European businesses must be more vigilant in taking steps to prevent cybercrime from disrupting their essential operations, warns Fujitsu. In its 2017 Threat Predictions report¹, published today, the Fujitsu Security Operations Center² identifies 10 of the greatest security risks to enterprises. These include failing to keep up with basic IT security processes. Further high risks are attacks on banking applications and smart cities.

  • Fujitsu Cloud Service K5 Selected by Government ICT Centre Valtori in Finland as Basis for Digital Transformation of IT Services Helsinki, EMEIA, February 09, 2017 - Government ICT Centre Valtori is standardizing on Fujitsu Cloud Service K5 as the basis for its new E-Government initiative, providing a central platform for the supply, support and implementation of future IT services for citizens of local municipalities. The use of K5 public and virtual private cloud is pivotal to Valtori’s plans to centralize and manage IT services and applications provided by partner agencies, and will digitally transform the use of secure government applications across public administrations in Finland.

The report evaluates End User Outsourcing (EUO) services as well as new digital workplace services that provide cloud-first, automated and integrated support to end users. Gartner positioned 15 vendors according to two main criteria – completeness of vision and ability to execute.

  • Fujitsu Supports First Digital Census in Egypt Cairo, EMEIA, February 01, 2017 - Fujitsu today announces that it is supporting the Egyptian government in conducting the first population census to be based entirely on digital processes. Fujitsu will provide hundreds of STYLISTIC tablet devices plus data center services for the collection and analysis of vast amounts of data. Automating and digitalizing the census process is expected to halve the time it takes to gather and evaluate data from Egypt’s population of around 94 million, as well as increasing data accuracy and reliability.
